1. The last of last weekends 15 dozen chewy toffee cookies. Chewy Toffee Cookies ½ cup  butter ¾ cup sugar ¾ cup light brown sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla 2 eggs 2 ¼ cups flour 1 teaspoon baking soda ½ teaspoon salt 1 ¾ cups toffee bits Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In mixer cream softened butter and both sugars. Add vanilla and eggs to butter mixture. In separate bowl combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Slowly add flour mixture. After above is well mixed add toffee bits. Use small scooper or a teaspoon to drop onto un-greased cookie sheets. Bake for 9-11 minutes. Makes about 6 dozen cookies.
